Dr. Amy Smagala completed her undergraduate degree with a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Delaware and received a Master’s degree from Drexel University. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Amy has worked as a small animal general practice veterinarian for the past 14 years; first in South Jersey and recently in Springfield, PA. When she’s not working, Dr. Amy enjoys reading on the couch with her 3 cats, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

Dr. Jenni Smagala completed her undergraduate degree at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Biology. She then attended Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in Lafayette,Indiana. After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Jenni completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Newark Animal Hospital.

Dr. Jenni has worked as a small animal general practitioner for the past 15 years in Delaware. Dr. Jenni resides in Newark, DE with her cats (all named for presidents). In her free time, she enjoys skiing, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Kyra is a dedicated veterinary technician at Twin Tails Veterinary Hospital, where she brings compassion and communication to every patient interaction. Since entering the veterinary field in June 2022, she has become known for her positive energy, strong teamwork, and commitment to providing high-quality care. During her free time Kyra tends to her numerous reptiles and calico cat named Bean. Even though Kyra is in school to become a radiology technician, she’s always supporting her team or comforting clients. Kyra combines professionalism with heart, always focused on making a difference, one paw at a time.

Abby began her career in the veterinary field in 2017 as a receptionist, where she quickly discovered a deep passion for veterinary medicine. That passion inspired her to pursue a role as a veterinary technician, and she has been dedicated to growing her skills and knowledge ever since. Abby takes great pride in providing compassionate, high-quality care to both patients and their families.

Growing up on a farm surrounded by horses sparked her lifelong love for animals of all sizes. Today, she shares her home with a cat and two beloved dogs, an English Bulldog and a Goldendoodle.

Bri has been in the veterinary field since 2016 and became a licensed veterinary technician in 2020. She’s worked in both emergency and general practice, and is CPR and Fear Free Certified, always focused on creating a calm, compassionate experience for pets and their people.

She has a special love for dental care, client education, and caring for senior pets. Whether she’s helping a pet feel more comfortable or guiding a family through treatment options, she brings heart, knowledge, and a genuine love for what she does.

At home, she's a pet mom to two cats and a dog who keep life fun and furry. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her curled up with a good book, playing video games, or soaking up the magic at Walt Disney World.

Cheryl began her journey in the veterinary field over 34 years ago, shortly after graduating from Garnet Valley High School in 1989. As a Client Service Representative, she is passionate about supporting clients, especially elderly pet owners, and has a special place in her heart for senior pets.

For the past several years, Cheryl and her family have opened their home to senior dogs aged 9 and older, providing them with love and comfort in their golden years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, two dogs, and four cats.

Crystal is a dedicated Client Services Representative with a deep-rooted passion for animal care. She has been actively involved in the rescue community since 2006 and has worked in veterinary settings since 2017. With years of hands-on experience, Crystal brings a compassionate and knowledgeable approach to every client interaction.

At home, Crystal is the proud pet parent of two chihuahuas, Harper and PeeWee, who are always up for a good snuggle. She also enjoys obedience training with her cattle dog mix, Remy, who often serves as her demo dog when working with others on training and behavior. Crystal is committed to helping both pets and their people feel supported, understood, and empowered.

Melissa is a Client Service Representative who brings a warm and welcoming energy to every interaction. With a background in the mortgage industry, nannying, and years of customer service, she is a natural people person who is organized, reliable, and always ready with a smile.

She is passionate about making a positive impact, whether she is helping a client through a tough day or ensuring things run smoothly. Her goal is always the same: be kind, be helpful, and create a supportive experience for every person and pet who walks through the door.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors, soaking up the sun, and making memories with family, friends, and her furry companions. She shares her home with two dogs and a rabbit, and she finds joy in the little moments, whether it is a good conversation, time in nature, or playing with her pets.
