Asha M.

Veterinary Technician

Asha began her career in veterinary medicine as a receptionist in 2021 and has enjoyed expanding her knowledge and experience in the field. She has a particular interest in puppy socialization and helping young dogs develop positive associations with new people, environments, and veterinary visits.

Asha has been a dog trainer since 2017 and earned her KPA-CTP certification through the Karen Pryor Academy in 2022. Her background in positive reinforcement training has also sparked a strong interest in animal behavior and how training and veterinary care can work together to improve a pet’s quality of life.

Outside of work, Asha enjoys competing in agility and rally with her two Golden Retrievers and Border Collie. One of her Golden Retrievers is also a former show dog! She shares her home with two cats and enjoys reading and hiking with her dogs. Between work and her hobbies, Asha always has something animal-related keeping her busy!
